A very rare find for me, have never yet seen this orange in any other type of corals. Very Nice!
Very
shallow and always partialy shaded from the full sun period, either
under rock ledges or being shaded by kelp plants.
As
most corals are, a nocturnal feeder capturing small food particles, of
which I provide by finely chopping up some mysis shrimp and placing
onto the mouth openings.
With
the two colonies that I have, they both seem to be fairly intolerant of
very nearby neighbors and will go on the attack if any other coral is placed very close to it..
If fed well, as with most other coral species, they can grow fairly quickly.
Temperature
is maintained between 82 to 86 degrees. pH range maintains at 8.0 to 8.2. I never use any
Supplements, with the exception of calcium.
