Always a favorite and if you are going with a tropical reef theme,
something would be missing without a few representatives of this genus
group. Just as the monitpora, it is all but impossible for anyone to
make a species identification. While having 170 species makes things
hard enough, the fact that they can interbreed and create hybrids then
makes identifications without any doubt, all but impossible.

Just prior to a reef wall at 20 feet as well as on the reef wall at depths of 50 feet.

Due to their normaly very small polyp size, feeding requires the use of very fine food particles.

Has no defense against other encroaching corals other than speed of
growth, will tolerate any other species as they have no choice in the
matter other than trying to out grow any nearby competition.

For a coral, fast. Good lighting conditions and being fed the correctly sized foods will ensure their growth.
Temperature
is maintained between 82 to 86 degrees. pH range maintains at 8.0 to 8.2. I never use any
Supplements, ever.
